Residential Architecture
This project is about the renovation of a 150m2 flat, in a 19th century building, in Lisbon, which, although perfectly liveable, kept the original interior distribution and therefore did not allow to respond to the proposed program as it was.

The intervention was based on the physical definition of each compartment (without changing the original partitioning), the internal reorganization of the house, the creation of a new bathroom and in the transformation of the living and dining rooms into one.
All the spaces were renovated maintaining the original architectural features, except for the entrance hallway where painted wooden panelling was applied, an element that was not part of the original architecture, but which, due to the time to which it dates back, allowed us to use it, integrating it in this space and enriching it architecturally.
