Residential Architecture
The purpose of this project was to rehabilitate an existing house, dated from the end of the 19th century, and to adapt it to the actual needs of a family. Since it was not possible to do so, due to the limited available area it had, it was then decided to demolish the house, maintaining its main façade, building a new volume, attached to the existing piece, bigger enough to receive the requested internal layout.

It was thus possible to withstand two different times in the same volume and to comply with what was intended, without distorting its presence on the street.
On the ground floor the most public character dictated the rules and there took place the social and service areas of the house.
On the first floor, the more private character prevailed, and there took place the four suites that had been requested.
As a complement to the whole house, a garage, a swimming pool and a laundry were located at the opposite end of the plot, creating in between of both volumes, a pleasant exterior area that links it all.
